2. General information on data processing
As a matter of principle, we process our visitors‘ personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and to handle enquiries. Data is not passed on to third parties for advertising purposes. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract and pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you access our website, IONOS automatically collects information in what are known as server log files, which your browser transmits:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- page or file requested
- browser type and version as well as operating system
- previously visited page (referrer URL)
Processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably and in defending against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are stored only for as long as is necessary for these purposes and are then deleted. They are not combined with other data sources. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.
4. Contacting us by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the details you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number, content of your message) solely in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for handling the matter and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
5. Cookies
We use technically necessary cookies so that the website works and so that your choice in the cookie notice can be saved. The legal basis is Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with our legitimate interest in the technically faultless operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Any cookies beyond these are set only with your consent.
6. Google Analytics 4
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It helps us understand how our website is used and to improve it.
Data processed: pages viewed and time spent on them, approximate location (country/region), device used, browser and operating system, source of the visit and a shortened IP address. IP anonymisation is enabled.
Legal basis: your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. Google Analytics is loaded only after you have accepted all cookies in the cookie notice.
Withdrawal: you can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future — use the „Cookie settings“ link in the footer of our website.
Transfer to the USA: a transfer of data to Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, the standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR apply.
Storage period: the usage data collected by Google Analytics is deleted automatically after 14 months at the latest.
7. Data processing agreements
Data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR are in place with the service providers we use (IONOS SE for hosting, Google Ireland Limited for Google Analytics).
8. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise it by the padlock symbol in your browser and by the address beginning with „https://“.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- access to your data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
An informal message to the contact details above is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Postfach 3163, 65021 Wiesbaden, Germany.

Last updated: August 2026. We adapt this privacy policy whenever changes to our website or to legal requirements make it necessary.
